Having been at the Centre for nearly 13 months, Miriam sums up her experiences:
“I find the activities are knowledgeable and educative but also fun”. Her thoughts are echoed by Carol, the second born in a family of four who fled from Thika during the post-election violence,
“we go camping annually to the Arboretum, and we’ve also been to Nakuru and Naivasha (communities within 2 hours drive north of Nairobi) to participate in the peace project”.
